We are Daniel and Susanne Fengler.
Here is a quick walk through our Personal Spiritual Journey:
We came to Australia in 1974 as Secondary Teachers on a two-year contract from the USA. We liked Australia so much, we ended up staying for over 50 years.
We moved to Healesville, Victoria and build a home. Daniel read over 45 books on solar design before we started! These have been very good years for us! Even though we enjoyed teaching, we didn't just stay there.
In 1988, after our long service leave, we changed careers into Personal Christian Counselling. We then finished our qualifications. It was a great pleasure and challenge to help various groups and churches with Pastoral Counselling, Seminars and Mentoring courses.
We’ve served on staff at three churches, with the honor of serving as Senior Staff at Crossway Baptist Church, Melbourne, Australia. In 1998, we helped to start, organize and run the Christian Counselling Centre at Crossway, along with a large Prayer Team, plus a wonderful Support Staff.

Soon, we found ourselves in common purpose with an inspiring group of praying and dedicated people. We grew to over 12 ‘Lead Counsellors’, and over 10 co-counsellors, training to become Christ Centered Counsellors. We then had the privilege of planning and moving into a bigger, dedicated Counselling Center. We worked in that part of the 'Harvest Field' for over 20 years. It was an amazing Holy Spirit journey.
Later, we also joined a group of 4-wheel drive explores from our church. What a buzz - seeing some of the beautiful country in Victoria.
In case, we didn't have enough with all this, we had an 18 ft. Ultimate yacht. Daniel was a keen sailor and enjoyed the adventure with others on Port Philip Bay, Melbourne, Victoria.
We didn't stop at this part of our journey either. In 2008, we took another path. We ‘semi-retired’ and jumped into another career direction – into Mentoring, Coaching and helping other groups and churches.
Susanne enthusiastically jumped into Website and Blog design on the side. So, you can see we have over 45 years of professional teaching and counselling experience by now.
By now, we have a ‘warehouse’ of Courses, Worksheets and eBooks we have developed over the years. It’s this material we want to share with you! We are continuing to offer this content material for Freelance Writers! As you can see, we work from this solid base of experience, commitment and vision.
