The battle on earth is really the battle between two forces: The Seed of the Women, The Lord Jesus, and the enemy, Satan, the great dragon. If we could see into the spiritual demission, you would see this battle in reality – great warfare between God’s angels and the evil forces trying to control the human race.
It’s a battle that has raged for almost 7,000 years and will soon be completed. The evil forces will know the victory power of the great Creator God … but until then, we meet the enemy in ways we seldom see or understand.
In this Course / eBook, Understanding Spiritual Warfare, we see the main areas of the battleground: our Warfare Weapons, Trauma, Blessings and Curses, Inner Healing, Deliverance and then how to keep what the Holy Spirit has taught you.
We concluded with some of the Bible’s methods for setting our victory for this enemy. The emphasise on ‘Self Deliverance’ is and continues to be the main way to reinforce our victory in our everyday walk with the Lord. Knowing and taking our authority in Jesus means facing and winning the ground we have been given.
We discussed what the Bible means by ‘Strongholds’. We can see the need to catch theses ‘spider webs’ that we all have allowed to grow in our Heart. Catching and cleaning out these spider webs will influence our freedom in Christ.

A Common Problem - Head versus Heart Forgiveness
We have all been taught about the need to forgive. However, it is the actual doing it - the practice of unforgiveness - that holds many of us back from receiving the full benefits of release. We need to learn healthy emotional release patterns to really forgive others.
1. Jesus said to forgive with your Head or your
Heart? Most people try to forgive with their Mind - or their Conscience - and the Heart is somewhere else, still caught in the hurt.
2. It is only when we give the Heart the freedom to
express the hurt, the Emotions in some valuable way that it can begin to forgive. Forgiveness isn't pretending “I didn't get hurt”' or “I’m a big enough person, I can overlook that person’s actions”.
When expectations are not met, our Heart takes in an offense. We are hurt and then unforgiveness set in. Most people try to suppress or bury the hurt. Heart work doesn’t work that way!
Trying to make our “wounded” Heart forgive ‘... with our head’ doesn’t work, because our Heart may still ‘feel’ wronged and angry. We need to address the Heart’s need to be ‘heard’ and express our hurt and anger in healthy ways –before asking our Heart to forgive someone!
… but first, you need to talk to the Lord about how He wants you to deal with this issue: “Lord Jesus, do I forgive and pardon this person, OR do I respond with the Matthew 18 principles first?”
Yes, it is hard to know which to do ... forgive or confront? That's why we need His help. Far too many Christians are forgiving 70 x 7 when the Lord would have them confront ... and many are confronting when He would have them to forgive!
However, the real problem is that we don’t forgive 'from the Heart'. It is not enough that we forgive in our Mind; we have to also forgive in our Heart, our inner subconscious.

A GREAT BOOK: Awakening the Slumbering Spirit by John Sanford
John Sandford is one of the heavy weights of Discipleship, Deliverance or Prayer Ministry. So don't start here if you are just figuring out that God is in the reconciliation and healing business, that God wants to free us from poor thinking, bad habits, anger, fear, and the effects of the fall.
Start with Neil Anderson's Bondage Breaker!
In this book, John Sandford takes us into a detailed journey of what he calls the Slumbering Spirit. He coined this phrase after encountering people who seemed to have a bi-polar walk with God or who just didn't seem to respond to what works for most in encountering God.
Pastor Sandford says that God taught him the concept of the slumbering spirit and that through faith and repentance, you can awaken the slumbering spirit to new life.
The prayers and insights found in this book are great for either pastors, prayer counselors, or anyone who wants more of God, less of themselves, and to find a greater freedom in Christ.

A Personal BOARDROOM - Some important Keys Course #11
Most successful business companies operate with some sort of committee style management system. This committee makes decisions and sets the policy.
People are somewhat similar to this committee system, but we have an internal ‘Boardroom’. We have eight members on our inner company, each with their own input and area of responsibility. However, unlike well organized companies, most people’s Board meetings are a total mess!
The Heart: the source of all life’s decisions and the inner core of who you are. It is the storeroom of our personal treasures – both the pains and pleasures. It is also the home of rebellion, pride and self-will. The Heart is self-centered, can hard, broken and walled up to prevent further hurt.
The Mind: our rational, thinking tool that helps is run our life. It functions much like a super computer by collecting and processing information. It is designed to guard us against deception but it can be corrupted, dulled, closed and blinded by sin.
The Emotions are the messengers sent by the Heart that can add flavour, zest and appreciation to life. They are complex with different levels of intensity.
The Human Spirit is the real YOU is a spirit being which connects us with God and the spiritual worlds. Our spirit can also be in various conditions.
The Will carries out the decisions of the group. However, the will can be crippled or stunted due to childhood issues or traumas of the past.
The Conscience is meant to be the moral guide and guardian of the group. It can be too judgmental, distorted in its views and overactive, struggling with the rights and wrongs based on experiences, logic or tradition.
The Physical Body: the outer house that our spirit lives in. It can seek to do its own will by yielding to temptation. It is subject to illnesses and death often due to the decisions that the Boardroom makes.
The CEO, the Lord Jesus Christ: the supreme Leader or the whole Boardroom. Most often, He is rejected, ignored and replaced by the self’s own false values, ambitions and goals.

The Importance of INNER HEALING Course #53
One Definition: "Allowing Jesus to return to the scene of past hurts and traumas to bring healing and restoration”. The aim of inner healing is for release, healing and forgiveness of old hurts.
Sometimes the Mind handles traumatic, intense wounds by letting them sink from conscious memory. However, these memories from the past continue to ‘bubble up’ from the unconscious mind, affecting our conscious feelings and behavior today.
The goal is to allow these memories into the realm of conscious awareness, experience them, release them God’s way and then get on with life. For some, these memories can become infected and turn inwards, becoming worse, often spreading to other areas. In severe situations, dissociation and ‘splitting’ (MPD) can happen, adding deeper personality issues to resolve.
It’s even possible we can still be caught at a certain age and therefore cannot “… leave behind childhood things…”. We can be ‘stuck’ at a certain stage, at some level of development – emotional, mental, spiritual.

The Bible AS FOUNDATION for all Truth Course #37
All forms of illumination must be measured against the Truth found in the Bible. The Bible is completely reliable and is worthy of our reading, believing and obeying.
The amazing unity of the Bible:
The 66 books of the Protestant Bible are written by some 40 authors, in three languages, from many different cultures and countries, over 1600 years - all without any hint of disagreement with any other part. The writers came from all walks of life, from kings to fishermen, farmers and tax collectors, yet without contradiction in their essential doctrines.
There is also unity in the variety of themes in the Bible, between the Old and the New Testaments, all centering on the person and work of the Messiah, Jesus Christ.
“God said…” is used over 3,800 times. The human writers all testified that it was God’s inspiration, and they were merely His ‘scribes’. Jesus quotes from almost every O.T. book, adding more authenticity.
Since King James, over 100 different English versions of the Bible
have become available. The changing use of words have has spawned
paraphrase versions, while other versions, have developed with the help
of newly developed manuscripts - again without any unexplainable
disagreement with the original manuscripts!
The Bible has recorded prophecies, especially those about the Messiah, proven historic or archaeological facts.
We are to base our doctrine, teaching and our instructions in the faith on the Bible. “All scripture is God-breathed, and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and for instruction in righteousness….” 2 Timothy 3:16.
The Word will judge us at the final judgement. “There is a judge for the one who rejects me and does not accept my words; that very word that I spoke will condemn him on that last day.” John 12:48,
The number structure of the Bible is beyond coincidence. 50 years of work by Harvard scholar, Ivan Panin uncovered some amazingly complex, yet harmonious numerical structures in the words, letters or their numerical value from the original manuscripts.
Over the last 3,500 years, the Bible is the most loved and the most hated book in existence. Roman emperors issued edicts for its destruction. Untold numbers of Bibles have been burned. Countless Christians have been executed for possessing a copy. Yet the Bible has survived violence, opposition, corruption and destruction. It remains the most significant book in human history because of God's divine protection.

What do we mean about TRAUMA? Course #43
Dr. Hicks, a researcher in trauma, defines trauma as “… an emotional state of discomfort and stress resulting from the way we handle the memories of an extraordinary, catastrophe experience which shattered the survivor’s sense of invulnerability to harm …” .
The Influence of Unresolved Trauma: Any traumatic stress reaction is like ripples (the trauma) that will continue and can extend for months or even years in a person’s life.
Whenever we experience ‘unresolved trauma’, something inside us stops growing, becomes buried in the subconscious – the Heart. Such events resurface in disguised forms, affecting our health and relationships with others.
When a Traumatic event Happens, the Mind 'Freezes'. However, it is the way we handle the memories that continues the trauma!
Trauma is also infectious, as it can be ‘passed on’ to the first responders and the helping professions. If the ripples of trauma are still being felt after 6 months or longer, the symptoms are defined as ‘Post Traumatic Stress Disorder’.
Five different people can go through the same event – two might escape any lasting consequences but the other three might be crippled from the shock and trauma for life. WHY?

How did HUMAN MERSERY began? Course #34
Yes … Adam and Eve – Pride and Judgement
What was the first sin of Satan and then, Mankind? We read about how Lucifer was a cherub in heaven in Ezekiel 28:12-15. Here we see how Lucifer in his pride, declared his five ‘I WILL’ statements against Creator God in Isaiah 14:12-15. For that rebellion, Satan was cast out of heaven, Ezekiel 28:16b-17.
Because of the fruit Adam and Eve ate from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil, Genesis 3:1-7, we all have opinions about good and evil. This is at the core of the Old Nature. It’s much a part of us as the lunch you ate yesterday.
Since that time, personal opinions and judgements develop and with the wrong choices, disobedience and rebellion have taken place … when these personal views do not match God’s view.
As pride enters a human being, we turn to making our own assessment or reach an opinion about a person, place or thing. We actually ‘eat’ or reproduce the fruit from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. Just like with Satan, sin separates us from God and from others. It’s when we make these decisions, we become ‘little g’ God. This was the very thing the Snake promised Eve.
We will never be totally free from these effects on our life. However, the issues are so essential to Christian freedom and growth, we need to send some time and face these issues.

What do you mean "The BOARDROOM"? Course #11
Here is an example of how to use The Boardroom:
My friend Marina and I once had a very plutonic friendship, lasting for about 5 years. It was a one of a kind, a long-distance friendship that touched Heart to Heart – no not sexual but our love for each other was strong and mutual … at least I thought it was.
My cousin and I had the time to visit with her about a year ago and … crash, something broke … 3 weeks and no emails meant the friendship had been broken. What happened was the cry of my Heart.
I gathered my Boardroom members and went to visit the Marina Room in my Heart. The door was familiar but a bit neglected since the last time I visited the room. We slowly filed into the room and I listened to the conversations between the 7 members within me.
My Body was first: “If only we had spent more time with her, gone on walks as we talked about but that knee accident had stopped any long walks. Maybe she didn’t know that, so she had different expectations that reality? I got to the point though that I couldn’t stand another dinner of half-cooked peas.”
My Will: “Ha’ It was so hot and working with her outside was a joke; that was the problem. If she expected that ….? No, I just wanted to say inside where it was cool and talk with my cousin and play with her cat. I couldn’t be bothered doing anything, like work outside with her.”
My Conscious: “We hardly could blame her when I didn’t expect it to be so hot there. Maybe I judged her for not telling us the real story of her life, too …. She had 3 guys snuffing around her and she could have said so. I can hardly blame myself for not knowing that. She had evening dates lined up that didn’t include us. Don’t blame me for the break-up; I’m not taking that on. Maybe she over-heard more than we thought when my cousin and I were talking about her lifestyle?”
My Emotions: “I just want our friendship, our love back. I could cry myself to sleep many nights if I didn’t listen to that Conscience saying it was our fault. … But I can’t help but think it was. I feel so much loss, grief and sadness that I miss our time together. Yes, I judged her too for not being open with us…. But how I miss her!”
My Mind: “Hey! Come on all of you. Get yourselves together. If something got broke in our time together, it was on her to tell us what happened. Has she? No! Keep what you can of the friendship and let’s just move on.”
My Human Spirit: “We did pray together and maybe my pray was too directed, too much judgement can through in that prayer? Maybe I pushed too hard but she needed to hear truth. No, we often spoke truth to each other so truth in my prayer was important too.”
My Heart: “Now I have let you all into Marina’s room, what shall we do now? I am broken up about this too. I have sent 2 emails and no response. I need to look to the One that is in control.”
… but the Holy Spirit said: “Remember control by us is an illusion. We really don’t have control over life. We can choose, ask for and even pursue something but it isn’t in our control to make it happen. So, it is with Marina…. Forgive, bless and let go. You may never understand what happened.” …and that is what I have indevoured to do since then.
Our EMOTIONAL Nature Course # 4
Our Emotions are usually one of the most misunderstood and most repressed members of our personality. They are often maligned, feared, buried, stuck, confused and neglected.
——– > For Example: Can you identify 5 feelings you are aware of right now?
In most Western cultures, men are taught early to suppress and ignore the way they feel. While some would claim, women are given too much space to play on their and others emotions. Neither of these claims are true for all men or all women.
Our family of origin is often hot bed of unspoken feelings. Here is where we learn how to express the over whelming or distorted emotions. Our parents and other adults are the role models. However, did they express healthy communication? Like 99% of people during 99% of the time – probably not. Yet we learn how to identify and share our feelings by watching those around you.
Most people need help to really get in touch with their feelings. For many, it’s like learning a new skill! Some emotional energy goes into being ‘passive yet aggressive’ when the pressure builds. Others just bury any and all feelings in case they get rejected.
Please know – Emotions are not the Enemy! Learning to identify and express any feeling in a balanced way is part of healthy emotional growth. It’s also part of good communication and, and, and ………. the list goes on.
The word “emotions” is not a Biblical term. However, we find general principles, such as “mourn with those who mourn”, Romans 12:15, “be angry, but sin not”, Ephesians 4:26.
Scriptures like these tell us that Emotions are not to be quenched, but respected. We are created in God’s image, and He has emotions too, so we must value them, because He does! Get this valuable study that explains the nature of Emotions and how to have healthy emotions.
‘Mind Chatter’ is often just below the surface of our conscious thought. Sometimes, this chatter can be self-destructive, or it can be building good health. Sometimes, it’s a mater of catching the false and negative and rebuilding in the positive thoughts. The Bible called it ‘Renewing the Mind’.
Some of this internal dialogue is true … but most negative self-talk is false and distorted, often ruining the good mental health we all need. Remember what we think about life will influence our Emotions – which in turn will influence our behavior. If I think I am not worth other people’s time, how will I behave? If I think I am unattractive, how will I behave?
Although we all began this self-talk as children, it greatly shapes our world today. If I believe those – false – comments made by my neighbor about my size and face shape when I was 10 years old, those words can still echo into what I think of myself now. Parents, siblings and the views of peers are very important to children – but many of their comments were not true.
How do we overcome this self-rejecting and often self crippling inner voice? Can we be free to see ourselves the way our Creator made us to be? The answers are in this FREE ‘Self-Talk? What is that?” eBook. Learn to catch the thinking – emotions – behavior cycles!
Are you looking for answers on why you do what you do?
Have you discovered the Formula to change your behavior?
Then here is the eBook for you on your Journey!
Sometimes, it feels like we go round that mountain until we catch the ‘ahaa’ behind the journey. That’s what this eBook is all about!
Do you know what Mentors, Counsellors and Psychologist aim to teach?
Here’s the Golden Formula:
If you want to change your behavior, work on understanding the Emotions. However the Emotions are expressed because of thinking habits, so change the Emotions by changing the thinking habits. However, the real roots of everything come from the heart.
Would you like to know more about the Heart?
We all go through confusion when our mental awareness has trouble accepting and ‘re-filing’ the events in order to make sense of the world. Since what we perceive as reality is what our Mind and Heart really believe, it is important to sort out these beliefs.
What we believe also determines the enemy’s ability to influence us. Working in the Heart area uncovers our ‘strongholds’ and hidden agendas . we think and believe.
So the question comes: Do you know anything about your Heart, the center of your universe? The Heart- or as Freud put it, your ‘Subconscious’ – holds all of your secrets …. but most of it is hidden from us.
“We live in the here and now!” I can hear you say. True but the here and now is greatly influenced by what’s in your Heart!
We will continue to add more in-depth info on our products so check back often.
